Mouflon hunting in Croatia
The Peljesac peninsula is located between Split and Dubrovnik. It is a spectacular hunting area, with low mountains, from 400 to more than 1000 meters, covered with a typical Mediterranean stain. They hunt stalking on foot, locating mouflon from one valley to another. The quality of the trophies is exceptional, all the best trophies in Croatia are hunted on our farms. Each season, a dozen mature specimens, 8 years old or more, can be killed. More than 30 gold medal trophies come from these reserves, and reaching 210 points or more is very common. The best trophy had 232 points. Accommodation is included in hotels on the seashore, hunting in the central part of the peninsula, or in hunting lodges on the highest peak of the mountain. The best time to hunt is from mid-October to mid-December.
Rates include full board in the hunting house on the farm for 5 days, hunting organization tax for 4 days, services of a specialized guide for 4 days, insurance and general organization tax and first trophy preparation.
The price does not include mouflon slaughter fees, air tickets to Split or Dubrovnik, transportation to the reserve (210 round trip), interpreter guide 80 per day, hunting permit 60, tips, (we suggest 150 per day) drinks and personal extras, 23% tax in Croatia. Trophy preparation: skull 50, chest 100, full skin 150. The kill rates are as follows:
